I Can't Beleive It

Hi Everybody,
I can not believe that it has been 6 plus weeks since I've posted. Life is crazy!!! The boys are going in 25 different directions school, scouts, church, kids club... but that means I too am going all them ways plus work, house, husband, blah! blah! blah!!! keeps life interesting and boy has my life been that. As of tomorrow I will be laid off work, you see the housing market is pretty slow - bad- down, etc so my boss is closing my office for the winter forsure maybe permanently who knows. anyway I am done here tomorrow. I am very Blessed and did get hired at the School for After School program -"Kids Club" I mostly work with the K- 1st graders, we all get together in the beginning and the end of the day. I work from 3:00 to 6:00 M-TH. I love it!!!! And my other exciting news is that I got hire by a CPA for tax time forsure and maybe longer. God has a plan for me and I am so excited to see it as it is reviled to me. Thank You Lord!

It maybe awhile again before I post due to my dinosaur computer at home finally died so no money for a new one now. I will try to keep you post on our crazy lives here.

Please everyone have a Blessed Thanksgiving- Hope, Faith, Peace, Love and most of all Gods GRACE keeps us!
Until next time
Love to you all

Wild Days

Boy has it been awhile since I have been able to blog. Where do I start! The boys are very busy with school. Dalton is in 7Th with a ton and half of homework. We just got 3 week progress reports yesterday and Dalton has all A's except a B+ in Science. Not bad for 3 weeks into school. He also is in soccer this year but due to low volume of 7 and 8Th graders he has not had a game they use him as a assist coach for the K-4 graders. He really likes it but would rather be playing.
Tanner loves soccer. He player a game last night in Chetek last night, they lost but had a great time!
He is a smart little guy (yes I'm Mom and I can say that) but judge for yourself, His 3 week progress report was all A's - yes I said all A's for Tanner too! boy am I going to be broke by the end of this year. You see we give them a $1 per A.... you do the math, but this only counts at report cards not progress reports. Thanks goodness!

The rest of our lives have been very busy with the puppies. they are the cutest little guys/gals I have ever seen. We are going to say goodbye to the little girls this weekend. Tanner is having a difficult time already. They are his babies... but they are going to great homes and we can find out how they are doing. If anyone is interested in Yellow Lab/Black Lab puppies please email me they are 6 weeks old tomorrow and we are charging $50.00. Lune (our lab is yellow and could be registered but we did not get the papers for her) Here are some recent photos of a few!

As for me and my part, life has thrown us a few curve balls. My boss came to me last week and started out and said" things are hard with real estate right now so I am going to have to........you got it cut your hours" I almost fell over.... she just cut our hours a month ago to 32 hrs a week but now it is 24. I do truly understand it is the economy not her fault. You see I love my job.... but she is letting us do a few other things.... Thank you God! for giving us the opportunity to seek you deeper~

As for the computer thing--- well the boys were playing with my HP and somehow deleted or erased windows xp so that computer is down until I can find my discs (good luck to me) and then they were playing on my laptop and guess what....did it again. boy I told you that we have smart boys,. now if they could just find the discs to put it back on!!! I will update as much as I can but only working 24 hrs with a computer might be awhile.

God Bless you all and take care until next time

Love, Kim

What is Happening

Sorry that the post are short and sweet but Internet is down at our house. This is what is happening here. We are getting ready for the school days to begin- Dalton goes to 7Th and Tanner to 3rd. They are both very excited to start on the 2nd. Orientation is this week for Dalton to get schedules and class, locker assignment and then the 2nd I am taking him to school. You see he plays the tuba in band and it is $9000 so taking it on the school bus is no an option!

The other excitement we have had is our dog Luna (she is a 2 year old yellow lab) had puppies this last week. 8 of them 2 females, 4 males. (we only got 2 chocolates out of the deal both males)

Until next time here is a picture of the cute little darling!

What a weekend

Tanner and Haley- I love you Cous!!!

They have missed each other so much. I almost cryed when I seen them together. So cute!
What a Blessing it was to spend time with family.

This last week my nieces were here for the week. We had such a great time. They have not been here with us since Easter time. I have missed them so much. We went mini golfing and played alot. Campfires, etc.....Here are a few pictures

Heather(7y)- Haley (9y)

Mini Golfing was a blast until they had us leave the course. It started to rain then can the lightening- we are out of here, but it was fun until then. Campfire time with the family.

This is Kevin (my brother) Jen (his girlfriend) and the girls!

Gramma and the girls

This weekend we went to the Polk County Fair. You see Dick (my husband) is from over there and some of his family still lives over there. We walk into the fair and the boys were in awwwww.. the barns by far were their favorite. Tanner loved looking at all the animals (reason is he wants to be a vet) he was amazed. Dalton would have stayed at the bunnies all day long if we would have let him. His favorite was the 4 week old bunnies and you will never guess what they were named- everyone of the 13 babies were named after Pokemon. Dalton loves Pokemon and has since he was 18 months old. He arranges his cards over and over. Some would say that it was a sign that we should get him another bunny (his was killed by a fischer or coyote this last fall) but I told him we would as soon as we got a hutch built around the bunny house maybe next spring. Then to the rides- WOW can you say broke city. $25 for 20 tickets all rides were 2 tickets. Games were $3 plus per game. I really almost fell over. boy have times changed! I better run for now, Everyone please take care and May God Bless you. Always look up and you will be Blessed!

Crazy Life

I know I know it has been far to long since I've blogged. Life has been very crazy. First we lost our Internet service, it is dial up so veryyyyyy slow. Where do I start.

Dalton went to his Bible camp right after school was out for a week. He grew much deeper with God. He loved it beyond words. Then he came home on the 13Th, had a few days at home then off to 4H camp for 3 days 2 nights. He loved it. This was the first time there so he was a bit nervous before he left. They did a ton of crafts and games. Right up his alley. He started to have headaches down at camp and some neck pain, he came home on Thursday evening complaining of them both. I gave him IB profen and an ice pack thinking that he had twisted at camp or slept wrong. He then started sleeping all the time. To make a very long story short, he spiked a fever of 102 and slept almost continually thur Saturday, Sunday I took him to the ER and they did blood, etc. Started him on antibiotics because his white count was climbing up, they told me his test results would be back on Thursday. On Tuesday they (Dr) called and said Dalton was over the top for Lyme's. He is now on an 28 day course of the medication. Please pray that it takes it all away. I have to run for now. May God keep everyone safe and strong, Friday I will post again and add some updated photos.

Happy Birthday Tanner

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TANNER
Wow- eight years ago we were praying to God for a safe birth for you. On Sunday June 29Th, 2000 you came into this world. Mommy can not even begin to tell you how happy I (we) were. God truly blessed us with YOU. You are the funniest little guy I have ever meet. You also have more energy then any other little 8 year. You are the best helper, your caring, respectful (most of the time) You are a child of God, your smart, playful, great reader, good brother, and an AWESOME SON. This list could go on and on. I love you so much Tanner. I put this picture on of you because 1. you love your dog, Luna but you also want to be a vet or a zoo keeper. 2. You thought mom and dad were crazy when we were dancing (to the polka music) and you started to dance with Luna- I told you you are a crazy kid!
We love you dear son. Happy Birthday!!

Fishing

This weekend was a busy weekend. Started on Friday, I had the day off work so I made the annual physicals for the boys. Wow have they grown. You know they grow but until you get the results from the Dr., needless to say I almost fell over. Dalton is 5'2 1/2" weight 117, Tanner is 4'2 and weighs 88 pounds. My babies are growing up. Per Dr. "A" they are very good boys. of course I knew that. We did have a surprise---- they both had hearing tests and guess what- they CAN hear..... now we know they really do have selective hearing! HA

Saturday Dick and Dalton did the Boy Scout thing. The scouts planted 1000 seedling trees for a local person (the get paid for it, but all go to their accounts for scout things) then off to get a canoe that a great person donated to the scouts. They still need a few more so they will have enough to go canoeing and not have to rent them. Dalton got sick about 3/4 the way through planting trees. As above he had updated shots and I think he got the reaction of them and heat- fever-pale-just feeling icky~ So Tanner decided he would pretend to be a Boy Scout (he is a cub scout) and go canoeing with his daddy and the scout master Geary. They had a blast. Tanner wants to by-pass cubs and go into Boy Scouts. He loves it. Dalton was feeling better after a few doses of IB profen and a rest.

On Sunday we got up and went to Church, I love being in Church, our church family is great. We had a business meeting which is always long and voted in our new Pastor, Congratulations Tonee and his family. I will miss Pastor Mike and Shelly but we will still see him and his family- we are great friends and family. God is on the move here in north land WI. He is shifting us around, getting us ready for his plan. I am very excited to be part of his plan. After Church a few of us went to the school to have an afternoon of relaxing time of scrap booking! My favorite pass time. I even got my mom into it! She finally has a hobby- WAY TO GO MOM. While I was off scrapping with Mom, Dick, Tanner, Dalton and Papa took the pontoon out and went fishing- they caught lots of nice northerns. I will post a few photos. The funniest was Tanner- he was amazed at how big this fish could open his mouth. I asked him "who is bigger?" This is the results!!

They had a great time. Tanner loves to help in anyway he can, so of course being a fishermen now he had to help clean too!
Hers a few other photos of the fishing pros

Until next time! May God Bless you all and remember to always look up!

End of the Month

Can you believe it is the end of March already. Wow how times goes. We had a busy weekend . Saturday morning I worked at the Real Estate office until 1:00. Dalton came to work with me, he loves to be here at my office. I have a great boss so I can bring him with. Tanner likes to work with Dad, LP gas is more fun then office stuff, I guess. Anyway then off to shopping, groceries, etc. Saturday night we had an office (Christmas) party. What a great time. First time in 16 months Dick and I have been out and about without our boys. It was a blast. Games, Dinner, and we all brought a "white elephant gift", and alot of talking! We played a game of name that cake- it goes like this- You get a hint such as Diamond --- now name that cake----------CARROT!

Thanks to our Broker (boss) Sue.

On Sunday which is one of my favorite days of the week we went to church. Powerful Sermon about "The Armor of God" from Ephesians 6. Then I taught Sunday School, I taught all the classes today giving the other teachers a break. We learned The Great Gift of all- His Son died on the cross for us--- John 3:16, They then made a stain glass cross to hang on the frig, mirror, door, where ever they could see it and think of Jesus. They are also doing prayer buddies this week. They were and are so excited about this- GO GOD work in their little hearts!
Then taxes! What a joy this was- NOT! 3 hours later I still did not have everything downloaded to my laptop, we have dial up for Internet at home and take forever. Any 3 hrs, I put it aside and started cleaning. As I was cleaning and came across all my scrapbook stuff and realized it was only 17 days until I get to go away for the weekend and do what --- PRAISE GOD AND Scrapbook for a whole weekend, We (my mom and a few friends) go to a Bible camp for the weekend. We eat, scrap, Praise our Wonderful Father and sleep(a little) return home on Sunday afternoon. I can't wait.

Here are the Easter photos I said I would put on of the boys and my 2 beautiful nieces dying eggs at out house. Dalton (11), Haley(8), Tanner(7), Heather(6)

Until next time May all your dreams come true. Focus on God and you will be Blessed

Caughting UP

I first want to apologize to all that I have not updated for awhile. Please let me explain. First I got sick, I got Influenza A and was totally dehydrated. After a trip to the ER getting IV fluids, nebulizer treatments, oxygen, chest x-ray, and lots of home going medication- 9 days at home on the couch. I have never been that sick for that long. Thank God my dear Husband, Dick and My Mom, Sharon all kicked in to help with the daily chores, picking kids up, helping with homework, etc. Being down that long gave me time to talk with our Wonderful, Holy Father. Long talks, listening, him showing me his plan for my next chapter in our lives here on earth. WOW---
His plan is on folding in deed. We are praying and working on getting a youth group going for the kiddo in Winter, Pray that we all follow what God's plans are and not our plans.

After all of this- I am the Cub Master for my youngest, Tanner Pack. I have no leaders, just me. Everyone wants their kids in things but nobody wants to step up to help, so again I have to follow what His plan is. We had the Pinewood Derby race in our pack. Tanner was the 1st place winner. I am so proud of him. He designed his own car and everything. Dad used the power tools (even though Tanner wanted to! yikes!!)
This was the winner for our Pack. Then off to the district final 50 miles away. Tanner did well there also, not first but he got 15Th out of 42 7-8 year old boys. I was and am so proud of him. His car hit 187.2 miles an hour. I can't believe how fast those little things go. Dalton got to race with us at school for our pack (because he is a boy scout now) he can't race in the final for district. He won over all "I DID IT" trophy. He was also very excited.

Then my Uncle passed away so to Minnesota we went. I pray that he is in Heaven with Our Father. I will trust miss him. Here is a photo. I love you Jim and will miss you dearly. See- ya later.

Updates on a few families I have asked you to pray for.
Asher (aka. Happy) Bolte family.- please continue to pray for peace for them.
Eva- She is with our Heavenly Father now- again pray for peace and grace for her earthly family.
Nate, Tricia, and baby Gwyneth- pray that baby continues to do well and that Mom gets her double lung transplant soon. Check out all of the blog sites from mine.
I promise that I will update with Easter photos for the boys and my two beautiful nieces this week yet.
My God be with you all until then.

To Cute not to share

As I have said before Tanner's best friend is Natalie. They love to be together. In school, weekends if we let them, (they are always together on Sundays at church), anyway Tanner came and handed me this beautiful-home made heart. He said,"Mom, Natalie gave this to me!" I could tell he was kind of embarressed., so I asked him what was the matter. He goes, mom, she made my check turn RED!!! I really thought I was going to fall over but I held it together. I have to post the beautiful heart. Thanks Tanner and Natalie. I am so glad that God has placed us all in the same area of this mission field.
Dalton has been very busy with school. Homework every night, blah--blah! Tonight after school they are going snow tubing with Kids Club. I will post on Monday to let you know how it went. Have a great weekend and God Bless You!

Friday, February 1, 2008

Wow, can you believe that it is February 1st, already. Time flies. I remember when my dear grandma use to say to me, "if you think time goes fast now, wait until you get older!" boy now I believe her. If time is going this fast now what will it be when I get older. I will go to bed in January and wake up in December! Oh well, as long as I have enjoyed everyday to the fullest.
As I read blogs and add families to my prayer list, it is amazing what God has taught me through blogging world.

Please Remember a few things in life as our days fly by here as humans:

1. Always enjoy your children even when you are pulling your hair out.
2. Always say "I Love you"
3. Never go to bed mad at each other- spouse, children, etc. make sure you have forgiven them
as we are taught by God.
4. Spread the word--- Let everyone know that God's Love is FREE! John 3:16

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever
believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV)

This list could go on and on.... On Sunday as I was teaching Sunday School, We were memorizing the "New Testement" books of the Bible. The kids (10-11 yr olds) at first started to complain about memory work, so I took out the game "Jesus" (like bingo) we played Jesus bingo with the new testement by the end of class they had learned almost all the books. I am so proud of them. They are get kids and are hungry to learn about Jesus! It always amazes me how much I learn too!

What a busy month

I just have to add this picture of Tanner, it is the most precious picture of him. He is so sweet but sure is full of SPUNK!

This week was kind of a recovery week. You see we had a late Christmas for my husbands side at our new house Jan 12th. We ended up with 38 people. Yes I'll admit that I was kind of nervous at first knowing that they were all coming to our home, I was cooking for them all (scary in it self) and our it was the first time that everyone would see our brand new home. IT WAS GREAT! We had a very good time. The kids did great and adults too. Some could not come but they were there in our hearts. We ended up being very proud, and oh yeah the food turned out very well (all except the ham was not done at the same time as everything else, oops! sorry) I'd add a photo but I was to busy in the kitchen to have time to take photos, so if I get any I will add! Thanks for being our family! It was fun.
After this Tanner & I got sick so the Christmas tree stayed up for another week. Can you believe it, it was just taken down this last weekend. WOW
Last night Dalton had a Boy Scout meeting at 6pm then I had a meeting at 7pm. finally got home around 830 just in time to clean up the dinner rush and get everyone off to bed, but Dalton says to me, "Mom, I need about 5-10 pictures of me for school tomorrow for a project" I almost fell over. You see alot of our things our in our sheds from our move, so I was praying I had enough photos that he need to share with his class. Thanks goodness I DID!!!! We did have a talk about telling me ahead of time. a least a day!!!! Know for this weekend. Dalton is going on a day camp for Boy Scouts BRRRRRRRRRRRRR! They will race sleds and earn a few merit badges. His goal is to become an Eagle Scout. I am so proud of him. He knows how to set goals.. That impressive for an Eleven year old! That another whole story about my little smarty!
I received their report cards for the quarter and semester. I was blown away by them. Tanner had an A in everything except a B in science. Dalton had an A in everything except Lit and music he had a B. I am such a proud my and a very lucky Lady. God has truly Blessed us!
Have a Blessed and safe weekend

Cold Days

Today I was reading a blog that touches my heart. The faith in God is incrediable. There daughter was premature and Tricia (th mom) is fighting with CF and awaiting a double lung transplant. Please take a moment to pray for them. For their "little miracle" and for Tricia to continue to get stronger in order to have the transplant. Check out the blog by her husband, Nate. http://www.cfhusband.blogspot.com/

Makes you remember how Blessed we all are with our own families and to also remember that nothing is possible without GOD!!!

Yesterday was quite the day. The boys were off school so I took the day off work. Tanner was grounded already from cartoons so he was bored as soon as he woke up. He could watch "Zack and Cody, Hannah Montana, etc but NO cartoons" so he decided that it would be a good day to pick on his brother. Truly all day long. He stopped for about an hour when he and I played hide-N-go seek with the plastic arrow dart gun, he would find me and shoot! It was so funny because I would scare him most of the time just be saying HI or moving. He is such a chicken! Another day and they are getting along fine again. To much time spent inside . It was way to cold yesterday and today to be outside! -20 degrees! I can't wait for spring time

Sick days

Boy am I glad to be on the uphill side. Both Tanner, my youngest, and myself have been sick for 2 days. This flu type virus going around is nasty. First you begin to fell very tired all the time, then I got a headache, my body was sore and weak. The nausea was the worst. The little guy is better today and back to school. If he had his way he would have stayed home today again just so he could watch cartoons, but mean mom made him go!!! Each day when I called school they said more and more kids are sick.

Before all this happen with us being sick. On Sat., Jan 12Th we had my husbands family Christmas at our new home. We have 37 people at our house. It went very well. No messes on the new carpet. Everybody was very respectful and I truly "Thank them all" It was great to see everyone. We had 2 turkey's, cheesy potatoes, green bean hot dish, salad, stuffing, and buns. For dessert I made my grandma's famous "fruit cocktail" cake. It was awesome, but not as good as my grandma. Bless her soul she left this world almost 30 years again. Wow, where does the time go!

God Bless you all and Happy Weekend.... Stay warm

Pround of Both

Tanner is the second born. He is now 7 years old and in second grade. He is full of energy and love to act. He is our little clown, we never know what he is going to say or do. He truly keeps our loves interesting. Tanner loves to read. He is above average and will read 2-3 books per night (of course sometimes I think it is so he doesn't have to go to bed) HA! Friendship is very important to him already!! His best-friend in the whole world is Natalie. They say they are going to grow up and get married. We'll see we have a few----more years! They too had a Christmas concert and the second grade was dressed as angels. They little angels and somedays they have horns! Here is Tanner with best friend Natalie!

My Pride and Joys

Dalton is our first pride. He is now 11 years old. and WOW- where did the time go. We waited 10+ years to have a baby and her we are 11 years later. Dalton is in 6th grade this year and is a very smart kid. I know all parents think their kids are smart but this one is. He has a very high IQ and so on.... He has taken up band this year. He plays the tuba. YES the tuba. It is bigger then he is but he loves it. He had his 1st band concert for school at the end of December. This was a Mom's proudest moment. You see he is the tuba player in the 5th-7th grade band. I will attach a photo
